Is it true that O2 are selling their mobile phone contracts to Sky or 3 next year?

Topic.

Read a post on here the other day which said they were!

In 8 months time I will be half way through my latest O2 contract, will I be able to get a PAC code and go to Vodafone? (The only major provider who still has UK call centres).

No I don't see!

You have no evidence from anywhere to suggest what you posted could be true.

Hi Richard

Over the past year there have been lots of rumours with regards to UK networks.

I'm not going to list them all but pretty much there has been a rumour suggesting that each of the big 4 UK networks are about to be sold.

I "guess" there is very little truth in most of these rumours but if there is we the public will be the last to know.

As for getting out of your contract free of charge because the network has been sold, I think that would be very unlikely.

Hi Richard,

This is just a rumour, so I wouldn't take any notice of it.

Where did you find the info?

It was on a thread in the discussions and feedback section some time last week.

Can't remember the exact thread.
