Hi there - asking for a friend.
My friend has a pay monthly service that is off plan. He's about to leave the UK for good via a holiday in Europe. So, he want to keep his phone service for the holiday then cancel the service altogether. Is it possible to cancel the phone while he's here in the UK for a future date so that he doesn't do it overseas? So for example is it possible for him to cancel the phone for the 6th November this week?

This looks like something you’d need to call O2’s customer service team about – give them a call on 202, 0344 809 0202, or specific payment management number 0800 902 0217 / 0800 032 5302
