You need to call CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to see why you are waiting.
There are many reasons why but we cannot know.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

More than likely the phone is out of stocly so call them for an update as to when it will be back in stock. If the wait is too long then cancel and go instore.

Or if you passed the credit check, completed the agreements, upfront payment cleared etc.
Only CS can tell you unless you've received any emails - have you checked your spam folder too?

Welcome to the community @Anonymous!
Are you a new customer to O2 Pay Monthly or is your order an upgrade from your previous O2 contract?

Plenty of stock of those around.
Can't believe O2 would run out......

Yes that does sound unusual @MI5. If it's convenient for you @Anonymous, you could try taking the contract out in your local O2 Store and cancel the pending order if it's successful?
You can find your closest stores here, as well as their contact details, if you wish to phone ahead and ensure they have the model you're looking for in stock http://www.o2.co.uk/storelocator
