Hi

I currently have an iPhone SE 4G, but have just acquired an iPhone 15 (from Apple). Will my current SIM provide 5G support for my new iPhone 15?

Thanks

Sims need to be specific 5G sims

It's possible you already have one depending on it's age

Check the sim serial number on the back of the card

It will incorporate 4G or 5G amongst the numbers

If it's 4G then call into an O2 store with photo ID and they will swap it over to a 5G sim free of charge

Probably not as that phone is a good few generations behind..

The easiest way to get a 5G sim is to take Photo ID and pop to an o2 shop, and they can do a sim swap for you.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Make sure 5G is enabled on your account

You may need a new SIM and that is best done by going in store with Photo ID

Of course, you will have to be in a 5G area else the phone will remain on 4G till you move into 5G coverage

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
