International calls to Saudi Arabia mobile help needed

My parents have gone to saudi arabia for a month and it is expensive to call from saudi arabia to uk. So i have bought o2 sim and have topped up £15 and then registered it online. I sent a text to my moms mobile phone who is on 3 network and it cost 12p. I thought it would cost 10p to send a text because i checked on international rates page and selected saudi arabia and it showed 10p to text, 12p to mobiles and 7p to landlines.

When i go to my o2 page, my tarrif shows

Unlimited O2 texts and calls plus international calls from the UK starting at 1p/min.

Remaining Allowance

You have 2990 O2 texts and 12000 minutes & 0 seconds of O2 calls left

I fear i may get charged more to call, maybe like £1.50, thats what happened to my cousin.

We do not understand anything. All we want is the cheapest way to call to saudi arabia mobile from uk o2 sim. What do we do?

Txt "link" to 21300 appears to be the way to switch it over to an international sim.
