International Call Alert

Hi, Just received a text advising me that I had made my first call to an international number.

It was outgoing to an Australian Mobile number twice within a minute of each other.

Each call lasted 3 secs (and I believe it failed to connect).

The Australian Mobile was in the UK at the time.

I was charged £2.50 x 2 for the calls.

Is this correct?

Yes, it is correct.

Regardless of the location of the phone it is still an international number you are calling.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@pyrex If you want to avoid charges like this in the future, you and the person with the Australian mobile should download WhatsApp and call using WiFi. No charges for that.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
