Has anybody noticed that their phone, particularly iPhone 5s, has been saying 'no service'?

It happened quite a few times since yesterday.

Once in particular, I was receiving a call and when I tried to answer it the call went off and I had no service.  I waited a few minutes and it still said the same.  I toggled airplane mode on and off and I still had no service.  I therefore did a hard reset of the home button and the top button and when the phone turned back on, it said O2 UK again.

However, I had no service displayed on my phone a few times after that, but it wasn't during a call, it would just randomly come up no service.

What would be ideal is if another member using an iPhone 5s to reply as you say to see if it's an iPhone issue, or masts issue. The service checker is great as an indication of service. slight_smile

Good point @Cleoriff I didn't think of that.

I will give it a few days and see if it settles down.

Knowing my luck, by the time it settles down to O2, I'll be back in Spain (in July lol).

I hope it works @gemz4the1 . If so, it will be one of my 'very few technical help posts' that actually does work!

I tend to steer clear normally...:smileywink:
