Increase in line rental by 3.2%

Anonymous
Not applicable

When I took out my new 2 year contract in September I was quoted £36 per month and assured that price would not change within the 2 year term.  I received a text today to say that from February 2013 I will pay an extra 3.2% increase in line with inflation!

How can this be allowed to happen?  I called 02 and they said it is stipulated in the 'terms & conditions'.

The advisor who sold me the contract  told me that my £36 is all I would have to pay (unless I exceeded my quota).  She never mentioned any price increases.   I feel that I have been misold a service. Why should this be allowed to  happen.

I think all 02 customers should complain about this!  Start a petition?
