Increase in Pay Monthly charge from April 2026

I have just been informed that my monthly payment will increase from £1.80 to £2.50 from April 2026 - no explanation given!

 

This represents an increase of 20% approximately.  As RPI is only 3.9% this month - can this extoronate incresae be explained?

They came up  with their own version of a payment plan because it appears that cancelling the airtime automatically ended the phone plan.

Maybe they have fixed it now (before the collection agency letters go out this time).....

Hello Richard,

 

We wanted to give you a heads up about a change we’re making to some of our airtime plans, so you can be prepared ahead of time.

 

From April 2026, your airtime plan will now be increasing by £2.50 instead of £1.80. The cost of your device plan will remain the same. Data Only and Smartwatch Plans will remain the same at 75p.

What this means for you

 

 

There’s nothing you need to do. This change will happen automatically

 

 

Due to this, you have the right to cancel your airtime plan without any early termination charges, within the next 30 days

 

 

You can continue paying monthly, or you can pay the remaining balance in full

 

 

If you choose to pay the full balance, you’ll need to call us on 202 to arrange it

Except that I don't have a device plan and stil can't access my MyO2, but yes, otherwise, fully prepared 😎

I am in contract and texted INFO to 85075 and it said I would owe 0.00 if I terminated today. So texted 65075 for my PAC.
