So I purchased a new iPad through the O2 online shop, wanted data roaming so included the 10gb package so I can use when I’m out in the fields with my cattle, iPad coming tomorrow but today my phone stopped being able to make calls... Iv found out some idiot has upgraded my sim by downgrading my unlimited txt and 20gb to the new plan for my iPad.. and can’t get through to anyone I live alone on my farm in a mobile home with no land line and self isolating what the hell am I to do, without a phone I won’t be able to phone for help if I’m in trouble, I can’t talk to anyone I feel truly alone.

It seems your iPad has taken over your phone details.
This happens if you choose upgrade and not take out a new contract.
You can use Skype to contact O2. Details are in this guide

Did you upgrade instead of buying as an addition
Sadly only by contacting customer service can this be rectified
I appreciate your difficulty but the only way to contact them is by phone
