Important news about the price of your mobile tariff‏

So apparently all of us have to pay additional charges to a "FIXED" price contract From 28 February 2013 due to inflation.  I'm not sure how other people feel but it wasn't explained to me that O2 can just up the price as they see fit regardless of the terms of the small print.  It should have been made very clear they can do this at the time of signing a contract.

 

What's the consensus out there?
