I’ve just got my new sim and new number from O2. Put it into my iPhone 6 replacing existing sim from another service provider. Filled out form, put in new sim serial number and PAC and want to know how quick it will transfer. Need my original number to work immediately due to work commitments. How long does it take to transfer?

Is the phone unlocked first before you are able to put your new sim in?

Once the form has been processed, you will get a text to the phone with the number you are keeping to tell you the date of the port. Usually it's the next working day, so if requested at the time you posted here, it will be done on Friday.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
