IMEI not recognised with O2!!!

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi
I applied for the unlock code with my IMEI however i got a text form o2saying that they have no record of my IMEI. I double checked the IMEI and it is correct. I had my original iPhone replaced through insurance so I'm wondering if the system was updated with my current IMEI? Eitherway my phone is still locked to o2, I'd be very appreciative if an unlock code could be provided so I can change sims.
Thanks
Robert

It's the IMEI number that is important so try submitting the form again. If it asks for phone model put it in as a 4, that way when back office checks the details they will match.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Called O2 customer services with the free 0844 number and got the phone unlocked within 2 mins! Why online chat couldn't do it who knows.

Thanks for the advice guys.
