I was using O2 Pay as you go. Now I'm using a monthly contract but I want to use my old number. How can I get to that position?

Many thanks but it seems to be getting more confused because I see that I need thePAC (Port Authorisation Code) which as I was on O2 PAYG O2 should have but at 21.02 on a Saturday evening I don't know how to access.

Good call @Anonymous. Sometimes with all the 'messing about' you need to go away and come back the next day with a clear head (Well I do anyway)

I think I have a better idea than messing about with the procedure to swap telephone numbers over which is to write a message saying, "Please accept this as my new telephone number as from now." Sending it to everyone on my telephone. The only problem is that I have to find out how to do that but I will ask my technocrat granddaughter tomorrow.

To do that..... all you need to do is write the text ...and send to everyone on your contact list....:smileywink:
