my phone bill has always came out on the 27th, my pay date from work.

I have changed jobs so now my pay day is the 28th.

I called to change it, to be told the due date can be changed from the 22nd to 28th to 1st-7th, there was always a 'possibility' it would come out before because there was a date range?

I do not understand in the slightest, I just want it to change from the 27th to the 28th, 1 day. It had never came out before the 27th only after due to weekends and bank holidays it would never come out before but the adviser said if there was funds in my account it would take the bill. If I change it to the 1st-7th due range then I'm going to insure extra charges, which I get, but cannot afford as new job I'm going to be emergancy taxed I can't afford it. If it's still withing this 22nd to 28th due range why can it simple not be changed from the 27th to the 28th?

As long as the date range is after your pay day it will be OK. You know you have to pay it so just make sure the money is there to cover it.

You can change your billing date yourself in your MyO2.

Yes I know, but I can't change it to a specific date?? Only a date range, and if I change it online chat has confirmed over £60 extra to change to closest one! How can it be a date range and not specific date if I set up my direct debit to come out on a certain date and it has done that for years but now it isn't guaranteed?
