You'll need to do a couple of things then @mmrs151 .

First, take out a new deal with someone like USwitch - they seem to have the best value deals at the moment.

Once that arrives, you can ask o2 to move the primary number across.
That will close the first account and the third number will be replaced.

Just to clarify @mmrs151

You currently have 2 numbers with o2.

You want to keep 1 and cancel the other?

And bring a 3rd number in to keep your total at 2 lines.

Why not bring in the other number onto the contract with the one you wish to close?

To cancel, follow the instructions in this guide: Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

You would need to take a new deal - try USwithch. It will ask if you are setting up a new deal or upgrading - make sure you use the new deal option.

Once that is all done, and you have the new sim, get your PAC from the company the 3rd number is currently with and follow this guide: Guide: Migration & porting into O2

I have been an O2 user for a long and the primary number is paying about £11.

My 2nd number for my wife is paying £8 which is a better deal than my primary number.

So I wanted to add a third number, as good as the 2nd number and port the 1st number into it.

How can I do that?

Or can I just ask O2 to match the benefits of 2nd number?

Take a new deal from USwitch

Once you have done that ask O2 to migrate the first number (your number) onto the new ssim you have taken out

That will automatically close the first account for you
