I've paid half my bill- will that allow me access to my phone again?

I'm on pay monthly- and currently I've had many bills to pay. My bill which is usually £33-34. But after 2 months of no payment is now £66. I've paid £35 because that's all I can spare. But I was just wondering will my phone be turned back on, as in I can make calls and texts? Also it doesn't say I have paid half yet so I'm worried it's not gone through! What should I do?

The reconnection fee only comes into play if you have been disconnected from the network. If your account is simply restricted then there is no fee.

If your account is still restricted after paying your bill then you'll need to call customer services to remove any bars from the account.

Hi,

Speak to O2 on 202 from an o2 powered phone or From a landline 0844 809 0202 5p / min now before they do take any further action and apply any late payment fee's.

If you dont soon they could eventually sell your debt and ask debt collectors to chase payment which will affect your credit rating. Thats the worst case scenario.

Another option is Live Chat http://www.o2.co.uk/mobile/contactus

No, the block will remain until the whole bill is paid off plus a reconnection fee, I'm afraid.

Thank you. I've now paid my bill, but the reconnection charge hasn't come up and I don't know where to pay it? Any ideas?

Are your services now turned back on.

Their May not be a re connection charge levied this time.

Ring O2 on 202 for account assistance is probably the best avenue to take.

Once you have settled the bill you'll need to contact cs to reactivate your account. This can take upto 24 hours. They will advise if there is anything else you need to do.

@Leah8504 You will need to contact O2. As a customer to customer Community we can't help with reconnection

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
