I've logged into my 02 account and the number I've ported over to 02 isn’t listed

Hi, yesterday I've changed over to 02 from another network. I'm waiting for my Sim to arrive... I've logged into my 02 account and notified the number I've ported over to 02 isn’t listed, it’s another number. Does anyone know if this is normal? I'm guessing that the number I've ported over using my PAC code will become live once I've got my sim card?

I've had the number for 20 years and have many CV applications business cards etc with my old number on it, so it is imperative I keep the number!

Tried to call customer services today and due to the Covid -19 I can’t get through. Any assistance would be appreciated, wondering if there is an error about to happen that will lose my old number.

The number in your account is a temporary one until your other number moves over.

It may take a few days (not including the weekend) due to the current situation so be patient.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Hello, the number on your account will be the temporary O2 number that comes with the SIM card. Your old number will still be with your old provider until the day your number transfers over to your new O2 SIM. Once it moves over, give it 24 hours for everything to update fully but your old number should then show up in your account rather than the temporary one.
Current devices: Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple iPad Pro 11” and Apple Watch Series 9 (all with O2)
