I need more minutes for a month or two but don't want to increase my plan

Anonymous
Not applicable

I already increased my plan from 200 to 300 minutes.  I seem to recall that I wouldn't be able to reduce it again once I had increased it.  For 300 minutes I was fine with that.

Due to a family illness I am bashing the inclusive minutes and am about to run out just half way through the month. I will only be abusing the phone for a few months, not the remaining 18 months of my contract.  I am (at the moment) unwilling to pay £50 (whatever) for another 18 months for unlimited minutes when I won't need them.

It doesn't look like I can get a bolt-on for extra minutes, only texts and data.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get extra minutes for a short time?

The other way is that if your family is on o2? you could get a O2 payg and get tune unlimited Opassim.  Afro £15 a month you get unlimited sums and calls to O2 numbers and keep the £15. It does bean another sim and number but it may be a cheaper I option.

againg if not on O2, you can get a payg sim and purchase a Bolton to a convert to minutes To ant network. Or u could get a 1 month simplicity tariff.

Hope the person gets better soon

Use iPhone XS Max dual sim, SE, Honor 10, IPad Pro 11, Apple Watch 4 LTE, 100+ Mpbs Barrier and a Record Player.

You're right, O2 don't have any options for extra minutes unfortunately.

Personally I have installed the Skype app which gives me the option of cheap calls should I ever need it. You just add credit through the Skype website or app.

There are other options such as Viber and TuMe but that means other people have to have it installed as well.
