A bolt on is normally a one off payment for extra data or minutes should you reach your allowance
However, some bolt ons are optional such as O2 Travel which are free or can be added without a set time limit.
A bolt on for a special offer or discount may appear for the length of any contract
All can be checked in My O2

Bolt ons allow you to buy extra minutes, data and texts etc if you run out..
