I’m getting calls offering Half price offer for 12 months and they send me a code. Is this a scam. I’m told to ring 202 to verify

100% scam.

Never, ever give the code to anyone, it's only for you to enter online after you have requested it.

Block the number calling and ignore it completely.

Forward the number to 7726 - It's free.

Be very careful these kind of offers are easy to get into and extremely difficult and costly to get out of.  A sprat to catch a mackerel?
