Just get a new PAYG sim ad request a sim swap.
No need to cancel lost sim and you will still have your number.
This can be done in 5 mins in any O2 shop.

When people post they have lost a sim...is that due to them using a sim between different phones? I know this may sound a daft question but I always imagine a sim will be in an actual phone therefore if they lose a sim..they must lose the phone as well....Smiley Embarassed

Who knows - The OP specifically mentioned sim, not phone so have to assume it was maybe swapped out of phone and lost that way......?

I know Rich.. I am just admitting to my own personal confusion when someone says they have lost their sim. I honestly always wonder if they mean phone....Anyway no matter..some folk lead different lives to me...(with my one sim ..one phone set up) Back on topic...:smileywink:

I took it that both phone and sim were lost and they have had a replacement sim but unless @Anonymous comes back it's pointless guessing.
