Hi,

I've just upgraded to a new O2 phone and you've given me a new number, I don't want a new number for obvious reasons. How do I ensure my current number is retained?

Thanks

Tyrone

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If a new number has been allocated the old sim will be turned off as the contract will now have the new number in place.

I suspect this may not have been an upgrade though and in fact a new contract in which case they need to speak to O2 to migrate the number and close the old contract.
