I have also been charged for multiple text messages when only 1 was sent, this time to Eire

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have received yet another bill where I have been charged for multiple text messages when only one was sent, these show up as being literally in a period of consecutive seconds so obviously no one can write this fast , certainly not a technophobe like me, additionally I have been charged for 14 messages sent to same number which have definitely not been sent as I never delete messages on my phone! I have an apple iphone 6s.

The messages were to Eire so carry an excess charge on the account , of course. I have phoned the help line and they say they will look into it, with any luck or decent customer service , this should be rectified. I will keep you all posted.

How many characters in the text messages?
160 characters is one text, upto 320 is two texts and upto 480 is three.
If you send long texts that convert into one or an MMS you will be charged for multiple texts.

Hi @Anonymous, how are you getting on today? Please do check the info above from @MI5 - would this help explain the additional charges?
