I do not want web services on my mobile

I am a new Pay&go customer. I do not want web services on my mobile, moreover i do not want pay £1 a day for them.
Can somebody please tell me how to cancel these service. I tried ringing 4445 but that has to be the biggest joke ever, and I tried on the 02 Website but all they want to do is sell me stuff, not let me cancel anything.
Sorry for seeming to rant, I was told to try 02, but so far have just felt dissapointed. :robotsad: :robotsad: :robotsad:

You might of been better looking at www.Giffgaff.com they are owned by o2 run on the 02 network and therofre any giffgaff sim you put into an o2 handset will work.
Giffgaff do a £10 goodybag which give you 250 mins a month unlimted texts and unlimted data/web, i know you dont want web but you never be billed for it if you used it as its inclued in the goodbag

If you don't use the web access you won't be charged for it.
There is no need to get wound up about it.

Re: I do not want web services on my mobile

Just in case it's not clear from what's been written so far, don't worry - you're not being charged £1 per day for internet services that you don't want.
All the message means is that if you decide to go online, the maximum you'll be charged is £1 per day from your credit. If you don't go online, you don't get charged anything.

That's wrong. I've bought an Android handset recently and have the same issue. Even though i'm not connecting to the internet, some apps (or the handset) seem to do so outside of the browser and i've been charged £1 a day for the last few weeks. I want to stop it but don't know how (might delete the APN's as somebody suggested).

It's not wrong, if you have any apps that are updating you are using the web.
You either need to find out what they are and stop the updates or disable APNs.

Or more sensibly, don't use an Always connected smartphone on some plan with no inclusive data.
