i told the gruru person on here that my daughter had just moved to a new build house has no phone line internet and no service in most places in her house.. would a dongle be ok to use so she can get internet . they said yes! it came today she is sayng it dont work ! is it cause she has no service! 

have we wasted money !

If there's no service, there's nothing for it to connect to, so yes, it's a complete waste of money!
Have you tried any of the other networks to see if they can provide a usable signal?

Some guru (ha!) He/she turned out to be. How could they possibly not know that a dangle would be absolutely useless with no network coverage? Hopefully you are still within the 14 days change of mind period.
