Hi guys
My brother kindly gave me his old Samsung S4 phone to upgrade my S2 at Christmas. He left his Pay Monthly SIM in and reset the phone. I then transferred everything via SwapMySim over to his SIM not realising that the 2 SIMs are totally different (took me days to figure out why I couldn't send texts but could do everything else).
SO I'm now just wanting to get info on whether I can just buy a new PAYG SIM & then do the same process again to transfer my details, or is there anything else I need to know before doing so. in order to keep my same number etc?
Thanks

Perfect - thanks so much for that - I just wasn't too sure whether there would be any difference for any reason - (not sure why since it's really the same process I suppose) - just that time of year when brain cells go on holiday so wanted to check before doing anything :).
Thanks for your patience in answering!!

It really is much quicker to go instore. They give you the correct sim and swap everything over...Mine was done and dusted in 10 minutes...

The phone settings are stored on the sim hence the need for the correct platform. As said you need a specific P&G sim.

Thanks guys - particularly appreciate the info on the Store doing it as I'm disabled & couldn't cope with standing around (or sitting for that matter) for much more than 5-10 mins, so I might indeed take that option as I've a store 2 mins away.
Many thanks for all your replies & input - truly appreciated
