2 days ago I started a new contract with o2 (previously an o2 customer) and I put my old sim into my new iPhone 11 Pro Max.
It still doesn’t have any signal, how do I connect this? It only connects to wifi, I am unable to make or receive calls or texts.

@Poppy__lee

Have you checked the SIM is in correctly first?

Can you try it back in your old phone too.

You may need a new SIM which you can get from any O2 store or by contacting customer service Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Hi

Have you tried the new sim that came with the phone? Are you starting with a new number?

yes, sim is in correctly and I've tried putting it back in my old phone and no signal either.

I have tried ringing o2 from my partners phone as i can't make calls and they are not answering as saying they are only dealing with lost or stolen at this time!

thank you!

@Poppy__lee

Sounds like you'll need a new sim card.

You can now get one from your local O2 store or keep trying to call.

Say you are calling about fraud in order to get the call answered.

Hi Sarah

My phone didn't come with a new sim. I got my handset through mobiles.co.uk, and the contract with o2. When i purchased it i opted to keep my number, I was previously with o2 anyway so i assumed i wouldnt need a new sim card.

Do you think i need a new sim card?
