I have tried calling 248 and sending an SMS to 148 but neither worked. When I called 248 I got the number unobtainable message. For the SMS I got the "message could not be sent error".
I have £15 credit. I have made other calls to O2 and sent sms messages. I just cant activate the top-up card. Also, I cannot understand why I can't enter the top-up card number in my account.
I am presently in Australia. Does anyone know of a solution?

Many thanks for the reply. For *111*# do you mean send a text to that number and put in the body of the text the top-up card number and add # (without a space)? Or do I send a text to *111*#(19digitcardno#), with nothing in the body of the text?

Thanks perksie. I called that number and it called me back with various options (including customer service, which was closed). However none of the options were to activate a top-up card. Looks like I will have to wait until I get to UK.
