I want to call 0345 numbers and have been told that I could be holding on for rather a long time (half an hour or more) just wondering what it's likely to cost.

Hi are you asking about BT charges or charges from your O2 mobile?
BT charges: 0345 number call costs. A call to an 0345 number costs the same as a call to a normal home or business landline. All numbers that start with 03 are charged at the same rate as standard landline numbers that start with '01' or '02'.
O2 charges are in this link https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/other-numbers-and-charges
ie
03 Numbers
Ofcom has introduced 03 numbers as an alternative to chargeable 08 numbers like 0870.
Calls to 03 numbers will cost the same as other standard fixed line numbers starting 01 or 02, and are included as part of any inclusive or free minutes allowance on our tariffs.
