How long does it take for replacement stock to come back in?

I’ve recently had an insurance claim approved for my lost iPhone 14 pro max.

Unfortunately, they do not have the item in stock at the moment. However, I haven’t been given a timeframe by o2 insure as to when they expect to have new stock.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation before? And can advise on how long I should wait before chasing them? Basically how long will this take generally.

I appreciate this is a high end device, but I hope I’m not in the position of having to wait a month of more, especially since they advertise at the most 3-5 days once they have stock.

@ksot1821

It will either be refurb or new but that depends on availability of either too.

Everyone is quoting 4 to 6 weeks for stock from Apple.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

There's no availability of iP14's due to Apple not supplying any, not even for new orders.

You could be waiting for a long time unfortunately.

I thought that their stock came from refurbished phones? So this shouldn’t be dependent on Apple right? Or would it be possible they send a new device.

If it is dependent on Apple, then there should surely be some shipments for the new year so hopefully the wait isn’t much longer.

Ok, we’ll I guess I have no option but to wait. Silver lining is that it could be a an entirely new device.

I’ll leave it till after the Christmas holidays to ring up and get a time sense. I’m expecting I won’t hear anything at the least till after then.

Still waiting for an upgrade here too, but from Voda for one of my accounts.
