Are you with o2 and wanting to upgrade? Or are you moving from another network to O2?
I already with O2 follow the advice here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-monthly/upgrading-your-pay-monthly-mobile
If with another provider you will have to pay off your contract first, ask for your Pac from them and port in to O2
