I'm still waiting for the fraud team to contact me after an investigation was raised due to a new number and phone being added to my account without my knowledge

They will contact you when the investigation is complete and not before.

They won't discuss with any party as it could compromise their investigation and is also illegal to do so.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

When was the investigation raised ? You need to bear in mind that a fraud investigation takes time, so you shouldn't usually expect to hear anything in less than a month.

As @MI5 has already mentioned, there are both criminal law and money laundering regulations reasons that you will not be updated whilst the investigation is ongoing.
