How do I cancel my sim contract

Can someone help me to cancel my sim contract, had it with virgin media and have never used the sim as was on another phone contract

I've had the same thing, except I've tried to cancel 5 times now and had 2 confirmations over the phone that the contract was cancelled. Still getting bills for this VM related contract I never used.
