4G installation started on 3rd June in the Armagh area of NI. Signal has been terrible for years so this improvement for the network is long overdue. Since 3rd jkune the signal has been awful, but this is to be expected (according to status.o2.co.uk) whilst masts are improved and 4G installed. It has been almost a fortnight now and the engineers are still working on it and the signal is still awful. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes the engineers to boost the 2G and 3G signals and install 4G on the masts? Cheers.

OK, it's now October and 4G has appeared in one part of Armagh (the outskirts heading out of the city of all places!) but the rest of the city still doesn't have it or any stable 3G coverage. This has been going on since June, over 4 months ago! Every time I check on the "Live Status" page, it tells me work is due to be carried out in the following days in the aera. But seriously, 4 months of this 'work' and still no proper 3G coverage (despite what the "Coverage Checker" page tells you), let alone 4G? This is a disgrace.

It took almost 12 months to travel from Manchester to Bolton....12 miles centre to centre. Even now there are large areas with only E coverage....

I sympathise. Have you tried TuGo? Available for phone and there's a Web version for PC.
