Hi,
I recently had to update my phone to factory (network) settings. Have loads of issues with my virgin wifi at home so often go on my hotspot. Now instead of having a toggle to turn the hotspot on and off, i get “set up personal hotspot”. It directs me to this link (www.o2.co.uk/iphonehelp/modem), which then doesn’t work.
I’ve tried calling customer service but get disconnected every time. All the posts in this forum about setting up hotspot give directions that do not work for what I have in my iphone. What do I need to do?

Have you also changed tariff or upgraded?

You need iData for the hotspot to work so this may not be active on your account?

Check also your data apn is "idata.o2.co.uk"
