Hello all

So long story short, I took out a 12M Sim Only contract with Carphone Warehouse, then at the start of April, I got the offer to upgrade, which I enquired about on here as to wether it would affect my credit score, check on my previous posts for dates, it was around the start of April, anyway - I am being offered the chance of upgrade again! - does anyone know why I am being offered this again? I don't really understand why I would be offered upgrades so often. Please someone enlighten me on this?

Thanks

Josh

I would like to specify even though it's pretty obvious - when I say I got the offer to upgrade that was via the O2 app and the same this time.

You can upgrade a simo at anytime, everyone can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Really? I never knew that - So what happens to things such as your extras  - say if you take out the audible or Disney plus extra then you upgrade again after a month would you be offered the extras again? Thanks

If the offer was still current, yes, but you can only have one extra at a time so you wouldn't benefit.

@MI5

It is possible to have 2 extras at same time. I've done it myself.

In February i upgraded my contract to a 18 month sim only and got Amazon free. When the rpi increases came in to effect in the beginning of April. The same tariff on a 12 months sim only was 24p cheaper so i upgraded again and got Disney+ for free and reduced my minimum term by 4 months which is a bonus.

Disney is the only exception to that rule.

Do you know what happens to your contract term? So for example. I took out my initial contract in December 2019, let's say I upgraded today again, for example, would my contract now be until 12 months from today or would it still be due to end in December 2020.
