Help - STAC code instead of PAC code

Hi everyone

A few very confusing conversations with customer services chat where they had no idea what I was asking.  I ordered a new 12 month contract sim using a stac code instead of the pac code (someone kindly provided the wrong information).  The order is now on its way.  I do desperately need to keep and bring my old number and have now got a pac code but i completed the order with the stac code.  Once I receive the sim, can I still port my old number over?

You'll need to call customer service and they will sort it for you Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

When I was having problems I called 202 and it didn't take too long to explain what I wanted and to get it swapped over to my old number.
