Help I'm moving to Spain

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello, I am moving to Spain on September 1st for 9 months but my contract runs till 22nd December 2013. Does anyone know if I can pause/end my contract early?

Also is there anyway I can change it to make Spain my 'home country' and carry on the contract?

Really unsure what is the best option for me

Thanks

You can't pause the contract or make Spain your chosen country.

However you can end the contract by paying it off in full ie. the maining months x monthly tariff (less any bolt ons). Customer service will arrange it for you on 202.

Before you pay off the remainder of your contract, if you want to carry on using your phone with a Spanish network, make sure your phone is unlocked before you go.

You could sell your current phone to use the funds raised to help pay off your Uk contract.

And then just start again in spain.

The OP should only have 3 months contract left when moving to Spain so hopefully not too much financial hardship in paying off the contract.

Take it with you and use TuGo or something similar to keep in contact with people back in the UK, then drop to a low SIMO and keep it running.

I have a relative that has lived in Spain for 3 years and has done this
