Handset Return

Hi,

I ordered a phone on contract last week and I accidentally ordered the wrong iPhone. I ordered the 6s rather than the 6s Plus.

I sent it back recorded delivery, I've had confirmation from Royal Mail it's been delivered but it's not been updated on my account. I'm happy with the tariff but just not the handset.

How long should it take for it to be updated on my account?
They said they would email me. The thing is my 14 days run out tomorrow or Saturday, will that make a difference?
I paid special delivery for £1000 just in case it got lost. I've been checking but o2 keep saying they haven't received my handset.

Thank you

I'm now having problems signing to view my account, does that mean my contract has been cancelled? @Cleoriff @Martin-O2

It shouldn't stop you signing in but your contract will show up as a "disconnected account"

Is this via My O2 @Anonymous? If so please give CS a ring on the numbers in my earlier link...

I maybe back tomorrow when I order my new phone....can you fail a credit check despite being accepted the first time? And it was just the incorrect handset?

In a word yes you can. Due to the computer showing recent credit checks...(nothing to do with your rating)

If you have problems let is know....but hope all goes smoothly..

You can fail due to too many credit checks, which doesn't mean you are a bad risk and if sufficient time is left between checks it doesn't usually make any difference.
