Had a call apparently from 02 about 30% discount due to connection issues this week and last week

Had several calls saying from o2 offering 30% discount due to connection issues...02080582120 genuine or scam.??

It's a well known scam
Block the number and report it free to 7726.

I just had a call similar to this from 020 7353 2123 registered to J & J B Traders - said they were calling on behalf of 02 or something like that for a 30% discount on subscriptions.

Just rang the above number and spoke to J & J B Traders who confirmed that they are a shipping company and were not aware of someone using their number for spam purposes and will look into this on their end of things.

Someone is spoofing numbers, so there will be very little that they will be able to and by the time they report it the scammers will have moved on.. 

Now if only OFCOM would speed up the rules on how to deal with number spoofing, but that is like waiting for christmas...
