Hello o2 Community! Hope you all had a good Christmas and are all looking forward to the New Year...

I've been trying to find help and answers for like an hour but have had no luck, so I am hoping some kind person here could help me?

I have this new "upgrade sooner" tarrif thingy where you pay for the phone and contract seperately etc.

I am close to the "early upgrade" thing but sadly have been having afew issues with several things...

All I wanted to know was if I pay the amount it says off now, does that mean I can leave o2 as well as upgrade should I chose to?

I have been unable to get anyone from Customer Services to explain, and several times when I have tried to do the online checking thing (so for example, if I get a text message saying my bill is now ready to view; I follow the instructions to the letter but I have to ALWAYS put in a new password. And to be honest, that alone is enough to annoy me!)

Anyways, can anyone out there PLEASE help me out?
Thanks a million, HUGE hugs for New Year; in advance!

Hi @NickyS257

Yes, when you pay off the device plan you can choose to either upgrade or leave for free https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/How-does-O2-Refresh-work/ba-p/1014093

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
