Got Summer Bonus but allowances being used instead

I got a text saying if I topped up £15 by the 27th I'd get a summer bonus of £15 credit for calls, text and web to be used within 2 weeks, sweet, I was due to top up anyway so I put a bit extra on and topped up £15 and received a text confirmation that it was active.

But....although calls are coming out of the bonus £15, my texts and web aren't, they're being taken off of my text and web tarrif allowance.

Is this right? Surely it should be using the bonus first while it lasts?

unfortunatly, for some strange reason it doesnt.  There will be someone that is able to explain why probably but i had the same issue not too long ago, called up the CS people and they explained that for some bonus' the normal tariff is used first.
