Goodwill gesture credit not applied

I was promised a credit on my acc with £20 as a goodwill gesture. I spoke to adviser on the 19th October via webchat. I was sent a text message confirming that it will be done. I've checked my o2 acc and nothing is showing there on my balance, its zero. How does this work? From what I was told, the credit should have been applied the same day. So where does the £20 go and when will I ever get it?!

It should show as a credit under your recent charges.
