I've just got the Watch5 pro and got it as a gift for my partner. She wants to connect it to her phone ect with the phone number she's already got and use it seperate to my account. Obviously the esim is in my name etc. How do i remove it from the watch? I wont be using it at all but will be paying for the contract.

The only way you can change the account connection is by paying off the watch fully and transferring it.

If you are buying it for someone else, Apple allow you to buy it on a payment plan @Lewis1992
