Hey folks (More for the regulars)

 

Does anyone know if there is an issue transferring from GiffGaff to O2.

 

Got my daughter a sim only plan and moving her number from GiffGaff. The number was supposed to move yesterday but she got a text saying it would be today. However, today both sim cards and dead. Calling both numbers and your told the numbers don't exist. Live chat said it can take 48 hours for the service to return, which ive never hear of before.

 

Anytime I've moved my number my new sim would continue to work even while the transfer was in progress.

 

should I start calling and being a pest on 202?

Yeah, called and was told the issue was with GiffGaff, all sorted now.

Give it time and keep rebooting the new sim.
Last one I did took about 4 hours after the old one turned off.

So that's midnight now and still no service on either sim.... Terrible. First time I've actually been annoyed with o2.
