I went in to the O2 shop in Brixton trying to get a good deal on a new contract. They couldn't beat many of the online deals but offered a £50 credit, upon which I signed a 12 month contract. Too good to be true? Yes, apparently, as it has not materialised. This is despite a trip to the shop to remind them, months later.
Anyone else had a similar experience? Anyone got any advice?

Yes, I did get it in writing. He said it would go on my account after 3 months. I took the contract with £50 credit (written by hand!) back to the shop after 4 months and they said they would put it on. I sat there for ages and they said it should go through - it never did!
I think they essentially lied to get me to sign the contract - seems like a bit of a deceptive, immoral and probably illegal thing to do.
Let that be a warning to other O2 customers wanting to renew their contract and tempted by deal sweeteners!

how would i go about escalating this?

Judge jury and if you had the chance executioner no doubt.
Why not find out what has gone wrong before making these judgements?
All you know is that so far there has been a delay.
