I had a new phone for Christmas. I've sent everything from old phone to new one both Samsung both sim free. How do I get the phone numbers to work so I can ring somebody? I'm 74 so no tech language please.

@Bess

Phone numbers need to be stored on the phone, not sim card and you need to be signed into the same Google account on both phones.

The phone numbers will then be available on both devices.

@Bess I'm not sure how you did your switch, but here is a guide from Samsung if you're having problems: How do I transfer my data from my old Android phone to my new one? | Samsung UK

Your phone numbers should also be in your Google account.

Edited to add: Here's a YouTube video for you to watch as well. You can stop and start it and go back if there's something you don't understand.
