Hi, I'm due to upgrade but as I can't see a contract less than 36 months through o2 I am getting my new phone from somewhere else. I will still be on o2 and keeping my number. Do I need to speak to someone at o2 for this to go through?

@FlynnyG

If you upgrade with the other company you will keep your number automatically, but if you take a new contract, you will need to call O2 to migrate your number to the new contract Guide: Migration & porting into O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You just need to press the - button next to 36 months and you can change the contract to between 3 and 26 months.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
