Dear community

 

I'm o2 customer since 13.11.2019.

That day I was asked to pay CUSTOMER GATEWAY DEPOSIT. Store manager explained how does it work and mentioned that deposit will be paid back after 3 months.

13th of March was 4 months after purchase. I have checked my O2 app, trying to find some news about my half a grand. What I found was

March Airtime Bill 13th Feb up to 13th Mar -542.00

Paid

Monthly device plan 14.63.

 

I have viewed Airtime Bil what I have  found was

 

Tariff charges 20

Monthly extras 9

total 29 before VAT.

VAT was 4

 

SUMMARY

before vat 29

 vat 4

Balanced brought forward 575.00 (ammount CUSTOMER GATEWAY DEPOSIT)

total -542.00

 

I thought If my monthly payment are  plus so if I have minus then probably they sent deposit back .

My bank acc haven’t changed since 13th of march.

 

Summary

 

First suggestion was to contact community so here I am . Iam wondering what I suppose  to do now to ges that deposit back?

Ok I get it now .

O2 didn't  charged me  33 Pounds this month.

 

I still want this deposit back  online site suggested me to cal 202 but it's to early at the moment. 

I'll  update later

Customer services are open at 8am. It's them you have to speak to in order to get the deposit returned

They book me in to speak with they guru... Im at the O2 shop where they brought me.
CLOSED!!

I though it's serious brand..., they pushed me to the risc of infection!

Hi @Piotrek_oo All store collected deposits are automatically credited to your account unless requested to be paid back onto your card from where you made the original payment. Sorry you were told to come into the store as this isnt how the deposit can be returned. If you call back again to customer services and explain that you would like the deposit paid back into your bank account or back onto your card that was paid at the start of the contract they can organise this for you. The wait times are a bit long at the moment, however once you get through the team can surely sort this for you.
